Join us for grilled brats, bluegrass and tram rides from Missouri State Parks, as well as the unveiling of our new 60 foot mural by local artist Ray Harvey! In the image above, Ray is shown working on the first 8 feet. To give you a sense of the size of this mural, below is a picture of where the mural will be placed.

Come out to see the other 52 feet on October 19!
The Historic Grain Elevator and The Ted & Pat Jones Welcome Center
The Treloar Elevator Party is named after the site of the event – the historic grain elevator, which sits right next door to the Mercantile. This grain elevator was used to store grain, and the “elevator” was used to move grain from ground level to the top of the storage tower. Today, it represents Missouri’s agricultural and rural heritage, and is the perfect location to gather right on the Katy Trail.
While you’re there, stop in and see the lovingly restored Treloar Mercantile, a standing “time capsule” with its carefully preserved historic features. Magnificent Missouri donated the Mercantile to Missouri State Parks and is now named “The Ted & Pat Jones Welcome Center.”

Tram Rides to Peers and Back
Want to get out on the Katy Trail while you are at Treloar? Hop on a tram ride and take the beautiful trip along the 3-mile Country Store Corridor. Missouri State Parks will take you along the Katy Trail to Peers and back to Treloar. While you are at Peers, you can stop at Peers Store, buy unique gifts (100% of all proceeds go to conservation), and stretch your legs at Peers Prairie. When you are ready, State Parks will drive you back along the scenic Katy Trail to the Treloar Elevator Party!
