Blooms and Bluegrass
Picture this. The warm breeze of early summer sweeping across Peers Porch on its way to the 4-acre native prairie just across the street. Visitors tap their feet overlooking the towering grasses and native wildflowers – all to the sound of local bluegrass purveyed by our artist friends.
This year marks the fifth year of the prairie at Peers Store, a collaboration between Missouri State Parks and Magnificent Missouri. Make arrangements today to visit Peers Store at the the peak – Saturday and Sunday June 20th and 21st and Saturday and Sunday June 27th and 28th.
We will have live bluegrass music from 12-3 each day, discussions with Prairie Experts, and the farm country hospitality you have come to know us for. Also, visitors can check out a viewing of Rivertowns in our new theater, and grab some ice cream from the freezer. We’ll see you out there!
