Consider this your official invitation to our annual Treloar Elevator Party. Located at the Treloar Trailhead on the Katy Trail, we will have grilled brats, great music, and more! See the beautiful mural that was unveiled at the 2025 Treloar Elevator Party, brought to life by local artist Ray Harvey.
The Historic Grain Elevator and The Ted & Pat Jones Welcome Center
The Treloar Elevator Party is named after the site of the event – the historic grain elevator, which sits right next door to the Mercantile. This grain elevator was used – you guessed it – to store grain, and the “elevator” was used to move the grain from ground level to the top of the storage tower. Today, it represents Missouri’s agricultural and rural heritage and is the perfect location to gather right on the Katy Trail!
While you’re here, stop in and see the lovingly restored Treloar Mercantile, a standing “time capsule” with its carefully preserved historic features. Magnificent Missouri donated the Mercantile to the Missouri State Parks and is now named “The Ted & Pat Jones Welcome Center”.
